Applications
It is a series of insulated rubber sleeves which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. They are supplied for field installation in this prestretched condition.
The core is removed after the tube has been positioned for installation over a cable connection, terminal lug, etc., allowing the tube to shrink and form a waterproof seal.
It is made of silicone rubber material, which have excellent weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance. It is ideal sealing material for the communication cable, coaxial cable, medium voltage and low voltage power cables.
Features
Simple installation, no need special tools or heat, no need hot melt adhesive or adhesive tape to strengthen seal; Suitable for a wide range of different specifications of cable connection seal, can be used in indoor and outdoor, overhead, in the water or buried etc. below 1000 v power cable; Retains its resiliency and radial pressure even after prolonged years of ageing and exposure, seal tight, still good performance for waterproof, moisture-proof, dustproof;Good performance for sealing even strong wind; Salt-fog resistance, acid and alkali resistant, zone aging resistant, good weather resistance, ultraviolet ray ageing resistance; Has excellent puncture physical mechanical performance.
Note: cold shrink tube with mastic is available.
